Jane Seymour is one of Hollywood’s all-time golden icons. Her career in film and cinema spans decades, from her memorable portrayal of Dr. Quinn and a Bond girl we’ll always love watching on screen, Jane is a force of acting nature we need. In her latest comedy movie, The War With Grandpa, she got to partner up with legends Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken. When asked what it was like, she had this to say.

The War With Grandpa is a family comedy film that follows the story of a young boy who tries to get his grandfather Ed (played by De Niro) to move out of his room when he moves to live with the family. Seymour plays Diane, a store worker that Ed befriended and who he may or may not date in the end, no spoilers. After its theatrical release, the movie was the first to top Tenet at the box office.

Jane Seymour had nothing but nice comments for Robert De Niro when asked about her experience working with him. She said that he is lovely and can literally turn on the bright lights as soon as the cameras start shooting. When they weren’t shooting, Seymour said that De Niro mostly kept to himself. During their trampoline scene in the movie, Jane recalls that she, De Niro, Walken, and Cheech Marin had a lot of fun, especially since everyone was wondering who’d get injured first.

As for working with Christopher Walken, Jane has already shared the screen with him in Wedding Crashers. She says his cadence is brilliant, and it infects everyone on set. Many people felt compelled to do their Chris Walken imitation in front of him, which was hilarious… and somewhat redundant.

The War With Grandpa is already out in theaters, so those who’re in for some family laughs should definitely give it a try.
