While the second part is already official, the first is yet to happen. In fact, it seems that Meghan is determined to continue her social work by fitting in a surprise appearance here and there. Her more recent one was through a video call for the widely popular show America’s Got Talent.
Meghan Markle and British Fashion
It’s no secret that Meghan Markle is good friends with British fashion designer and personality Victoria Beckham (who was a guest at the royal’s wedding to Prince Harry). Meghan has worn Victoria’s designs on numerous occasions, both for her formal and casual outfits. In fact, she even wore a Victoria Beckham’s dress for her final appearance as a royal at the annual Endeavour Fund Awards in London at the beginning of the year.
Meghan’s Surprise Appearance on America’s Got Talent
Wearing a beige 100% silk Victoria Beckham’s shirt, Meghan made an unexpected appearance on the popular American show to cheer on the contestants. One of the contestants, Archie, was of particular interest to Meghan (whose son with Prince Harry bears the same name).
She said her family’s cheering for him to win not because they’re partial to the name, but because they adore his talent. Archie Williams, aged 59, has been stealing people’s hearts with his deeply moving story. He spent 12 years wrongfully convicted in prison until evidence proved his innocence.
For the occasion, Meghan had paired the beige shirt with leather leggings, which made for an effortlessly chic and lovely outfit. In recent weeks, we also saw Meghan Markle sporting a couple of other Victoria Beckham’s outfits. One of them was the same shirt but in a different color, which she wore while encouraging US citizens to register to vote.
