Both Gillian Anderson and Emma Corrin celebrated at this year’s Golden Globe Awards for their performances in the hit Netflix show, The Crown. Both actresses took the opportunity of the starry night to comment on Prince Harry’s thoughts about the series.
Prince Harry Shared His Thoughts About The Crown to James Corden
In a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Prince Harry was quizzed about his opinions on the popular Netflix series. The segment took place on the second floor of a sightseeing bus while drinking tea in a posh British manner.

When asked about The Crown, Harry said that even though the show is fictional, it is still loosely based on the truth, and it shows the pressures of the royal lifestyle — having to put country over family, and the outcomes of such decisions. He also joked that he was much more comfortable with The Crown than what the press writes about his wife and family.
Gillian Anderson and Emma Corrin’s Response
Emma, who won “Best Actress in a Drama Series” for her immaculate portrayal of Princess Diana shared that she was very moved by the fact that Harry acknowledged the show. She also added how grateful she was for his words.

Gillian, on the other hand, said that Harry was in the position to judge what was fact and what was fiction — given his place in the royal family and its history. She added that she was happy he understood what the writer and creator of The Crown, Peter Morgan, was trying to do and show to the people. All in all, it seems the actors are humbled and honored by what Harry had to say about their show.
For the awards night, Emma was wearing a gorgeous Mui Mui dress, and Gillian was stunning in her Dior number.
