In order for it to work its magic, however, she says you need to be consistent and drink it regularly.
A Nutritious Smoothie a Day Keeps Trouble Away
Kate Hudson’s smoothie recipe is a fantastic source of nutrients as it is high in fiber, protein, magnesium, and calcium. Although it’s dairy-free, her recipe is rich in calcium due to the plant-based powder Kate adds to the mix, as well as the inclusion of spinach. If you’re not vegan, you can use cow or nut milk as an alternative.
Adding two cups of spinach to your daily smoothie will meet the minimum recommended calcium intake, as well as potassium, folate, magnesium, iron, and Vitamin A.
- 1 avocado
- 2 cups spinach
- ½ cup pineapple
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 frozen banana
- Fresh mint leaves, to taste
- Lime zest
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¾ cup plant milk of choice

You can pre-prep the ingredients a week in advance if you store them in the fridge or refrigerator in a separate storage container. That way, all you have to do is take them out and blend them whenever you’re hungry for a delicious, flavorful smoothie. For extra antioxidants and nutrients, add in a handful of blueberries.

Pit and skin the avocado and squeeze the juice of one lemon. Make sure you have all the remaining ingredients ready. Put them in a blender and blend until you get a nice smooth texture. Pour your smoothie into a glass, or your favorite beverage container, and enjoy!
