A family that stays together, slays together – at least that seems to be the motto of the Meryl Streep clan. The Oscar winner recently attended the 2023 Academy Museum Gala with her entire family, sans Streep’s ex-husband. This was the family’s first outing together since Streep and her husband called it quits after almost four decades of marriage.
A First Appearance
Don Gummer and Meryl Streep were married in 1978 and recently announced that they’ve been separated for six years. However, the two still seemed to be on good terms, even though they now live apart.
The Streep-Grummer brood consists of the couple’s three daughters and a son, as well as two of their partners. Let’s dive into all those present at the awards.
The Streep-Gummer Brood
The first is her son-in-law Mark Ronson, who is married to Streep’s daughter Grace, known for Mr. Robot, standing next to him. Ronson recently scored and produced the soundtrack for the Barbie movie. Then there’s Mamie Gummer, The Right Stuff actress, who wore her hair in a wet hair look. In the middle is the queen herself, grinning with her family.
To Meryl’s right is Louise Jacobson, who is currently playing a young gentlewoman in the historical drama The Gilded Age. She’s followed by Henry Wolfe, Meryl’s only son and a musician, who rocked a simple black suit with a blue shirt. Next to him is his acupuncturist wife Tamryn Hawker, who upped the glam quotient with her sheer nude dress layered with a nude slip.
