Ingredients (for 24 Cupcakes)

● Duncan Hines Dolly Parton’s Southern Style Coconut Cake Mix, 1 package (15.25 ounce)

● Duncan Hines Dolly Parton’s Creamy Buttercream Frosting, 2 containers (16 ounces)

● Eggs, 4

● Milk, 1 cup

● Melted butter, ½ cup

● White chocolate chips, ½ cup

● Confetti sprinkles, 2/3 cup

● Bright teal, purple, and pink decorating sugars



● Line 24 muffin cups with cupcake liners and heat the oven to 350oF.

● Beat the cake mix on low speed with eggs, milk, and melted butter for about 30 seconds. Then increase the speed to medium and continue beating for 2 minutes, until the mixture gets fluffy.

● Divide the batter among liners. Bake for 16-19 minutes. Insert a toothpick to check doneness.

● Let the cupcakes cool in the oven for 10 minutes. Then transfer them from the pan to a rack.

● Draw or print 24 small butterflies on white paper, around 1½ inches wide each. Place it on a baking sheet and cover with wax paper.

● Take the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 15-20 seconds intervals, stirring in between, until melted.

● Pour it into a freezer bag and snip a small hole in a corner. Trace and fill in the butterfly drawings. Sprinkle each butterfly with colorful decorating sugars and chill for 15 minutes.

● Reserve ½ cup of frosting. Transfer it to a freezer bag and snip a small hole from the corner.

● Spread the remaining frosting over the baked and cooled cupcakes.

● Spread rainbow sprinkles on a plate. Dip the tops of the cupcakes in sprinkles.

● Pipe a dollop of reserved frosting over each cupcake.

● Insert the chilled chocolate butterflies into the top frosting of the cupcakes.
